Roma Lea Dyvad, 60, Webster City, died suddenly at her home on Monday, January 22, 2001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Flaherty at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Scripture Services to be held at 7 p.m.

Roma Lea Caudle, daughter of Robert and Ruby Wilson Caudle, was born Dec. 12, 1940 at Webster City. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1958. On May 2, 1959 she married Don Dyvad at Webster City. The couple later divorced in 1994. In 1981, she became the activity director at the Southfield Nursing Home. In the mid 1980's she began work at Country Meadows as Activity Director. She later completed the necessary training to become assistant administrator. The site later became known as Choices Made Independently where she was Executive Director.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Terri Dyvad of Des Moines, two grandsons, Alex and Sully Dyvad also of Des Moines; and one brother Bobby Ramona Caudle of Ellsworth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Todd Dyvad who died in 1981.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
