—George Shipp died in Webster City Thursday. He was for forty years a resident of that county. He started the Congregational church and the Farmers’ National bank, being vice president of that institution since its organization.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born July 12, 1815 and died Nov. 18, 1897. He is buried in Graceland Cemetery.
