Diane M. Swenson, age 72, of Ellsworth, IA, died in her beloved home in Ellsworth, IA on April 24, 2020. There was a Private Family Graveside Service, Saturday, April 25th, 2020 - 2:00 PM - Greenwood Cemetery in Ellsworth, Iowa.

Diane Marie (Knutson) Swenson was born on July 11, 1947 in Eldora, Iowa to Irvin J. and Elsie M. (Smith) Knutson.

Diane grew up on a farm in Garden City, IA. She graduated from Radcliffe High School in Radcliffe, Iowa.

She married Kenny Eugene Swenson, her one true love, at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Radcliffe, IA on July 23, 1966. Kenny and Diane shared a deep love for one another for over 53 years raising their two children in Ellsworth, IA. In 1977 they moved to a farm in Ellsworth, Iowa and farmed for many years. They enjoyed camping and travelling to Rutledge, Missouri together every summer.

Diane enjoyed gardening, collecting yard art and bald eagle figurines, and capturing candid memories of her friends and family during family gatherings.

She passed away in her beloved home in Ellsworth, IA on April 24, 2020.

Diane is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Eugene Swenson of Ellsworth, IA; son Jerry (Shara) Swenson of Story City, IA and daughter Ann (Marty) Jensen of Ellsworth, IA; grandchildren Justin Jensen, Austin Swenson, Curtis Jensen, Shelby Burks, April Jensen, Danelle Swenson and Lane Swenson; great-grandchildren Easton Burks and Genevieve Jensen; sisters Joyce (John) Meyers of Story City, IA, Linda (Dick) Hebron of Garden City, IA, Marcia (Steve) Davis of Radcliffe, IA and her brother Roger (Mary) Knutson of Hubbard, IA; along with many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Irvin Joseph and Elsie M. Knutson.
