Norma Wilson, 88 of Webster City died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Windsor Manor. Graveside services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Graceland Cemetery with Pastor Peggy Ellingson, officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Faith United Methodist Church. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Norma Jean O’Conner, daughter of Charles and Mabel (Segar) O’Conner was born April 7, 1931 on a farm North of Webster City. She attended rural schools and graduated from Lincoln High in Webster City with the class of 1949. She worked at First State Bank following graduation. Norma was united in marriage to Maynard Wilson on July 30, 1950 at the United Brethren Church in Webster City. The couple farmed north of Webster City for 23 years, then moved north of Highview for 18 years. They retired and moved to Webster City in 1991.

She is survived by her children, Mick Wilson of Waterloo, Bruce (Janet) Wilson of Fort Dodge, and Debra (Kevin) Park of Webster City; grandchildren, Lynn (Marty) McKinney, Scott (Stephanie) Wilson, Matthew (Allison) Wilson, Kimberley (Jace) Nadeau, Stephanie (John) Imler, Aaron (Carrie) Park, Ryan (Lauren) Park and Chad Park; 11 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard in 2000; her parents; grandson, Michael Wilson; brothers, Melvin and Marion O’Conner; and sisters, Doris Tapper, Evelyn Brown and Violet O’Conner in infancy.

She was a member of the Webster City Women’s Club, and Faith United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Faith United Methodist Women.
