Stan Parrish, 75, of Webster City, died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home. No services are scheduled at this time. Per Stan, “I lived, and I died”. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
Stanley Darwin Parrish, son of Robert and Bessie Thompson Parrish, was born February 18, 1944 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1962. Stan served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1970. On May 23, 1965 he was united in marriage to Sheryl Crider in Webster City. Stan owned and operated Stan’s Auto Sales and Service.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheryl; son, Matt Parrish; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Barry Youngdale; grandsons, Sam, Ben and Gabe Youngdale all of Webster City; sisters, Gloria Bell of Des Moines, Zola Asklund of Duncombe; brother-in-law, Chuck Crider of Germansville, PA; sister-in-law, Lucille Peterson of OR and many nieces and nephews.
Stan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Parrish; sisters, Zelda Reif, Linda Lee Parrish; sisters-in-law, Debbie Carden-Crider, Thelma Stevens, Charlene Harrison, Margie Kay Nichols, Judy Crider; and brother-in-law, Terry Crider.
