Nedra Brewer Adams, 97, a former longtime resident, died April 18, 2006 at Sister Bay, Wis. She was a granddaughter of Hamilton County pioneers Isaac B. Smith and Rhoda Churchill Smith, and the daughter of Emma Smith and Edward Brewer, a member of a Webster City pioneer family. Nedra received her education in Webster City, and married Reginald Adams, an agent for the Railway Express Co. until retirement. They had no children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clair Brewer, two aunts, one uncle and several first cousins and families. Memorial services and burial at Sister Bay Cemetery will be Friday.
