Russell A. Willson, 89, of Webster City, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at the Southfield Wellness Community. No funeral services will be held. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery at Bellingham, Washington. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Russell Allison Willson, son of Frank and Lexie Wood Willson, was born May 3, 1916 at Webster City. He received his education in Webster City schools. In May of 1940, he married Lauradell Stuart at Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. He worked as a commercial painter. In 1958, the couple moved to Bellingham. Mrs. Willson died in April of 1992. He returned to Webster City in 1993. He moved to Southfield in October of 2001.

Russell is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Larry Wagner; brothers, Richard and Claude Willson, both of Webster City; Larry Willson of West Des Moines; Chelsea Willson of Bellingham; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Robert Willson in 1982; his parents; sisters, Virginia Abramson and Eileen McAllister; brother, Frank Willson.
