Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Thursday, December 30, 1965

Mrs. David Schwandt, 23, died Wednesday evening at the Hamilton County hospital. She had been in ill health the past several years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Lutheran church with the Rev. P.M. Moll officiating, preceded by a service for relatives and friends at 12:45 p.m. at the Foster Funeral home, with the Rev. A.E. Rau officiating.

Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Janice Kay Miller, daughter of Ray and Lenora Miller, was born July 1, 1942, at Webster City. She was reared in the Mulberry Center community and attended the Webster City schools.

After her graduation in 1960, she was employed at the Woolworth store for three years. She was united in marriage June 9, 1963 to David Schwandt and the couple farmed for one year near Woolstock, and for the past year had lived on a farm on Route 3, Webster City.

She is survived by her husband; by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller of Webster City; one sister, Colleen Miller, at home; and several nieces and nephews.

She was baptized when she was an infant in the Evangelical United Brethren faith. She was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran church at Woolstock.
