Orval Lester Hill, 78, of Fairfield Bay (Van Buren County,Arkansas) died Saturday, April 19 (1986), in a Clinton (AR)hospital. Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church by Rev. Ellsworth Watson.

He was born April 12, 1908, in Missouri (Daviess Co), son of Lester and Mae Wells Hill.
He was a retired plumbing supply salesman in Des Moines, IA, was a veteran of World War II, a member of the VFW, the Lion's Cluband Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, V. Blanche Rost Hill, and a stepson, Robert Rost of Minneapolis, MN.

Memorials may be made to Union Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 2176,Little Rock,AR; Fairfield Bay Lions Club or Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers were Norman Luke, Louis Freeman, Mike Goodnight, Lynn Garmroth, Robert Gisburne and James Fairfield.

Burial was at Eglantine Cemetery (Van Buren Co.,AR) by North Arkansas Funeral Home.
