Dorothy Brim, 92, of Webster City, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Congregational U.C.C. with Rev. Craig Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Dorothy Lou Fassett was born February 25, 1924 in Webster City, the daughter of Nelson (Buster) and Radie Arends Fassett . She graduated from Webster City High School in 1942 and Webster City Junior College. She married Bob L. Brim on February 20, 1944 at the First Congregational U.C.C. in Webster City. The couple farmed northeast of Webster City, raising purebred SPF hogs for many years. Since 1969, they owned and operated Dorothy Brim Antiques. In 2002, Dorothy retired from her antique business and moved to Webster City. She had lived the last 11 years at Southfield Wellness Community where she enjoyed life to the fullest.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Larry (Elaine) Brim, Susie Brim, all of Webster City; six grandchildren, Mark (Jennifer) Brim of Webster City, Peter (Kaci) Brim of Altoona , Andy (Brittany) Brim of Webster City, Kevin Brim of Minneapolis, MN, Nick (Megan) Brim of Omaha, NE, Lisa (John) Bestenlehner of Phoenix, AZ; eight great-grandchildren, Shelby, Hailey, Angelina, Lucas, Grace, Koen, Wyatt and Abby; nephew, Tom Fassett of Webster City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob Brim, on June 15, 1998; brother, Jim Fassett; daughter-in-law, Barb Brim. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the First Congregational U.C.C. where she was longtime dinner chairman and a 4th grade Sunday School Teacher. Bob and Dorothy enjoyed dancing, golfing and wintering in Lady Lake, FL for 22 years.
