DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER IN THIS CITY

Funeral Services for Mrs. E.H. Breitenkamp to Be Wednesday.

Mrs. E.H. Breitenkamp, 83, a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, died at 3:45 a.m., today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.P. Bossenberger, 204 Des Moines street.

Death was caused by complications which developed following a stroke. She had been bedfast since July.

Funeral Wednesday

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Bossenberger home and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. W.C. Fleischer will officiate. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery, with Foster's in charge.

Fredericka Vohs Breitenkamp was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, March 18, 1857. She grew to young womanhood there and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

To U.S. in 1881

She came to the United States in 1881, going to Boone where she made her home with an uncle until she was married in 1885 to E.H. Breitenkamp.

They began housekeeping on the Breitenkamp farm, west of this city, where they lived until they retired and moved to Webster City, purchasing the house at 715 Stockdale street. Mr. Breitenkamp died Feb. 27, 1939, after which Mrs. Breitenkamp made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Bossenberger.

The Family

She leaves eight children, four sons and four daughters. They are Fred, Superior, Wis.; John, Enid, Okla.; Walter, city, and Will, Blairsburg; Mrs. Emma Blue and Mrs. W.P. Bossenberger, city; Mrs. L.E. Hosack, Van Buren, Mo., and Mrs. W. Labs, city.

A sister, Mrs. Mary Gebert, and a brother, John Vohs, live in Blue Island, Ill. There are also 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death.

She was a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and was also a charter member of the Ladies Aid, being active in both groups until her health failed.
