LeRay Dell Eide (Butch), 77, of Stanhope, IA, passed away December 19, 2017 at the Stratford Care Center with his family by his side.

LeRay Dell Eide, son of Jay and Ellen (Hanson) Eide, was born on January 4, 1940 in Webster City. He was raised and educated in Webster City. He worked in the painting industry until he retired. LeRay married Phyllis Schutt on February 22, 1963. The couple later divorced. On April 3, 1985 LeRay married Judy Rapp. The couple resided in Stanhope, IA.

LeRay is survived by his son, Russell Eide of Austin, MN, daughter Jolene (Gary) McFarland of Webster City, sister Barb Pringle of Stanhope, brother Gary (Pam) Eide of Chillicothe, MO, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, his parents, son Steven who died in infancy, grandson David and sister Bonna Olson.

LeRay was a confirmed member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church in Webster City. The body has been cremated. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
