Doris was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for nearly seven decades, where her and Pat's children went to grade school, and was also active in the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and Funeral Dinner Committee.

Doris loved watching her family grow, playing bridge and winning buckets of cash from her girlfriends, bird watching and feeding her feathered friends, reading novels and presiding as First Lady of Webster City during her husband's terms as Mayor.

She was preceded in death by Pat in 1999, her parents, and brothers Dr. John (Mercedes) Krueger of Ft Wayne, IN and Warren (Doris) Krueger of Westminster, CO. The family extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Don Woodhouse and his staff, the staff and management of Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation, the staff at Van Diest Medical Center for the loving care and attention to our Mother, and Kindred Hospice, especially during her final months.
