Mary Lou Jansen, 73, of Williams, passed away on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at Bethany Life in Story City. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams. Visitation will be an hour before services at church on Saturday. The Surls Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Mary Lou Jansen was born on November 15, 1943 in Ames, Iowa to Joseph and Martha (Larson) Ihle. She graduated from Williams High School. Mary Lou was united to marriage to Duane Jansen. She worked at the M&M Restaurant, Boondocks and Mary & Wayne’s. She went to school and worked as a beautician for a short time. She loved her dog Misty. She also loved being with family and going places with Marlin.

She is survived by her brother Herbert (Cathy) Ihle of Naples, FL, her special friend Marlin Smith and many specials nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Marion and Norman Ihle, her sister-in-law Linda Ihle and her dog Misty.
