Carol Ruth Wenger, 88, a resident of Timberville, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013.

Mrs. Wenger was born on June 24, 1925 in Webster City, Iowa and was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and Marie Elizabeth Pinkele McCollough. Throughout her entire life, she greatly enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren.

On November 15, 1962, she married Dorsey R. Wenger who preceded her in death on May 26, 1989.

Surviving is a daughter, Cheryl Utech of Webster City, Iowa; two step-sons, Ronald L. Wenger and Barry Wayne Wenger; a brother, Thyrol McCollough and wife Alene; a sister, Patricia Klaber; special adopted grandchildren, JoAnn Campbell and Buck and Connie Price; two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Reverend Jerry Ruff will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Olivet Brethren Church. The body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service.

Friends may call at anytime during the day on Monday.
