Evanston, Ill.

Stratford (Special) - E.N. Teander, 87, died Sunday evening, Feb. 2, in the King Nursing Home at Evanston, Ill., following a stroke. He was born and raised in the Stratford community, and then moved to Des Moines, where he was in the brokerage business for a number of years before retiring and moving to Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mrs. Rena Swanson.

Survivors include his widow, Jennie; 4 daughters, Mrs. Joe (Evelyn) DeArpa, Mrs. Tom (Margaret) Evans and Mrs. George (Connie) Cohen, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Ralph (Deloris) Crow of the State of Washington; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in Evanston, Ill.
