Funeral services for Arnold F. Sealine, 93, will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Bethany Manor Care Center in Story City with Rev. Enoch Hall officiating. Services will also be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stanhope with Rev. Louis Cronbaugh and Rev. Neal Solomonson officiating. Burial will be in South Marion Cemetery near Stratford.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home until 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Sealine, who had been residing at Bethany Manor, died Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Story City Memorial Hospital.

Arnold Frederick Sealine, son of Oliver and Charlotte (Lottie) Samuelson Sealine, was born Dec. 17, 1893 in Marion Township. He was educated in rural schools.

He married Rosa Fish on Aug. 17, 1929 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple farmed in Marion Township.

Following the death of his wife in April of 1938, he was married to Anna Mathre Hoversten on May 1, 1941 at Estherville. The couple farmed in Marion Township where Mr. Sealine was a breeder of Angus cattle. They retired in 1956 and moved into Stanhope. He entered the care center in Dec. of 1984.

Survivors are his wife of Bethany Manor; one son, Orien of Stanhope; a step-son, Stanley Hoversten of West Covina, Calif.; one step-daughter, Gloria Hoversten of Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, one daughter in infancy, one great-grandson, three brothers and four sisters.

He was a member of the Stanhope Church of God and the Hamilton County Farm Bureau.
