Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, September 23, 2019

Lois Wilson, 72, of Webster City, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Van Diest Medical Center. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 26th at Graceland Cemetery, with Pastor Chad Halbach officiating.

Lois Elizabeth Palmer, daughter of Robert and Dorothy Paris Palmer, was born June 25, 1947 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School. On December 3, 1994 she was united in marriage to Dwayne Wilson in Webster City. Lois’s past employment had included Per Mar security, Keith’s Bar and Grill and a self-employed house cleaner.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayne, of Webster City; daughter, Lorella Gilbert of Webster City; grandchildren, Brandy Darrah, Jacob Gilbert and Ruth Tomlinson; great-grandchildren, Quentin Gilbert, Lillian Darrah, Jayce Gilbert, and Aiden Gilbert; brother-in-law, Keith (Beverly) Wilson of Polk City; sister-in-law, Judy Amundson of Webster City and nieces, Brooke and Kailey Wilson.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patty Ely; brother, Bob Palmer and brother-in-law, Jerry Amundson.

Lois enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing, and hunting with her husband, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and family.
