Anna M. Peterson, 99, of Stratford died Tuesday, October 27, 1987 at the Stratford Care Center where she had been a resident for nearly three years.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 30, 1987 at Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Willis Grant officiating. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery.

Anna Matilda Carlstedt, daughter of Carl and Jenny (Hansen) Carlstedt was born January 2, 1888.

She was married December 18, 1912 to Oscar C. Peterson. They farmed around Stratford a few years before moving into Stratford in 1939.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, three sisters and one brother and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Arvid (Velma) Erickson of Stratford; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman and Clifford Carlstedt of Stratford.

Anna Peterson 99

Funeral services for Anna M. Peterson, 99, Stratford, were held Friday, Oct. 30, 1987 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Stratford. Rev. Willis Grant conducted the 1:30 p.m. service. Interment was held in South Marion Cemetery, Stratford.

Mrs. Peterson passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Stratford Care Center.

During the service Margaret and Norman Erickson sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Jesus Lead Me All The Way" accompanied by Margaret Erickson. Bearers were Gordon Erickson, Tony Peterson, John Peterson, Jeff Peterson, Jeff McCubbin and Dennis McCubbin.

Anna M. Carlstedt was born on January 2, 1888. She was the daughter of Carl and Jenny (Hanson) Carlstedt. Anna married Oscar C. Peterson on December 18, 1912 at Stratford. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include a daughter, Velma Erickson, Stratford; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Herman Carlstedt and Clifford Carlstedt, both of Stratford.
