MRS. NETTIE M. LUNDQUIST

Mrs. Nettie M. Lundquist, 94, lifelong Stanhope area resident, died Friday afternoon at Crestview Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident the past five years.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Louis Cronbaugh officiating and with burial in South Marion Cemetery near Stratford.

Nettie M. Sealine, daughter of Oliver and Charlotte Samuelson Sealine, was born Jan. 4, 1882, in Marion Township near Stanhope. She was reared and educated in the Stanhope area.

She was married Dec. 18, 1907 to Victor E. Lundquist and the couple farmed southwest of Stanhope for many years. Mr. Lundquist died in 1926. She later moved into Stanhope in 1939, where she resided until five years ago.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Conrad Lundquist, Stanhope, Mrs. Clifford (Marie) Nelson, Boone, Eldred Lundquist, Stanhope, and Mrs. Carl (Doris) Chicken of Stanhope; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Arvid Sealine, Kamrar, Arnold Sealine, Stanhope, and Mrs. Esther Jenkins, Stanhope; Reuben Sealine, Peru, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, her parents; one brother and two sisters, one of whom died in infancy.

She was a member of the Church of God at Stanhope. She was an honorary member of the E.O.T. Study Club of Stanhope, and she was active in the Farm Bureau Womens' work.
