Rosalyn Butler, 80, of Webster City, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2019 at Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Peggy Ellingson officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Rosalyn Adix, daughter of Howard and Gwendolyn Stephens Adix, was born May 16, 1939 in Boone. She graduated from Ellsworth high school in 1957, and then attended Iowa Methodist School of Nursing. On March 28, 1969 she was united in marriage to Maurice Myers in Ellsworth. They made their home in Webster City. To this union two daughters were born. Maurice died February 18, 1988. On May 28, 1989, Rosalyn married Harland Butler in Webster City. Rosalyn worked as a nurse for 31 years at Hamilton County Hospital, after retiring she worked part-time for Dr. Latella for 12 years. Harland died on July 22, 2017.

She is survived by her daughters, Maureen (Greg Carstens) Carver and Melissa (David) Groat all of Webster City; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; step-children, Kelly (Robin) Butler of Fulton, MO; Michael (Nichole) Butler of Indianola; Ryan (Angie) Butler of Jefferson City, MO; brother, Stanley (Janet) Adix of Ellsworth; sister-in-law, Ruth Adix of Port Charlotte, FL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Miles (Jackie) Butler of Webster City; Eileen (Gilbert) Withers of Spring, TX; Kathy (Terry) Lenz of Fort Collins, CO; Ann (Dick) Kock of Kent, WA; and Patrick (Maxine) Butler of Spirit Lake.

Rosalyn was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; and brother, Stephen Adix.

She was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was very active in Grace and Faith churches as choir director.
