Mary Lou Hilpipre, 66, of Webster City, died Sunday, March 21, 1999 at the Southfield Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Hoffmann officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, north of Webster City. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

Mary Lou Faye Keller, daughter of Louis and Evelyn Green Keller was born on September 17, 1932 at Estherville. In 1941 she moved with her parents to Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City schools. On December 24, 1949 she married Walter Dale Hilpipre in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. She had worked at the Truck Haven Cafe, Crestview Manor and as a private home health care provider. She retired in 1995. She had resided at Southfield for the past 11 days.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Dennis Koestner of Webster City; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Brenda Hilpipre, David Hilpipre and Walter Hilpipre, Jr., all of Webster City, Dean and Marlys Hilpipre of Alden, Richard and Sheila Hilpipre of Blairsburg; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Price of Webster City, Darlene Beightol of Rockford, Mn.; brothers, Bill Keller of Watsonvile, Ca., Dale Keller of Webster City; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Besaw and Rose Marie Reetz; brothers, Edwin Keller and Robert Keller.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a former Brownie, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader.
