Joann Edith Anderson, age 75, formerly of Parkersburg, Iowa, was born the daughter of Willard Edward and Arlene Luverne (Miller) Feldt on July 20, 1943, at the Mitchell County Hospital in Osage, Iowa.

On December 26, 1965, Joann was united in marriage with Harold “Andy” Duane Anderson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural St. Ansgar.

Joann died Sunday, July 7, 2019, at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Craig Feldt.

Joann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Andy Anderson; two sons, Jay (Leia) Anderson of Parkersburg and Scott (Holly) Anderson of Webster City; one daughter, Stacie (Steve) Brass of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren, Zachary Anderson, Alyssa, Nicholas and Lindsey Brass, and Olivia, Wesley and Devan Anderson; two brothers, Dean (Barb) Feldt of St. Ansgar and Conrad (Diane) Feldt of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; two sisters, Karen (Gary) Robertson of St. Ansgar and Jane (Denny) Eitman of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 11, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wellsburg, with burial at a later date in the Graceland Cemetery, in Webster City.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg, (319)346-1534, and one hour before services at the church.
