ASHES OF YOUNG MAN SHIPPED HERE FROM BOSTON FOR BURIAL

Funeral services over the ashes of Victor Hugo Halline of Boston, Mass., were held at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Reinholdt Anderson, east of Stratford, Sunday, March 19, 1921.

Deceased passed away in Boston, Mass., March 15, 1920, death being caused by lobar pneumonia. The body taken in charge by the Masonic lodge and cremated by the Massachusetts Cremation Society as desired by the deceased. Since then they have been in possession of relatives in Chicago.

Victor Hugo Halline was born in Chicago, May 18, 1887. His mother, a sister to Emil, Peter and Reinholdt Anderson of this place, died when he was but five years old. A year later his father passed away. At the age of ten years he came here to make his home with his uncle, Reinholdt. At the age of 14 years he went to Chicago and some time later enlisted in the U.S. navy, serving for a term of four years. During the late world war he was drafted into service and served throughout as an instructor.

He was 33 years, 8 months and 26 days old.
