Carlson

Although her death was almost daily expected the people of Stratford were nevertheless deeply shocked when they learned of the death of Miss Mabel Carlson south of town. For months she has lingered between life and death and although the best of medical attendance had been secured for her, all seemed in vain.

Mabel Almeda Carlson was born on the farm where she passed to her reward, March 15, 1881 and at the time of her death was 26 years, 1 month and 26 days of age. [daughter of John & Mary Sackrison Carlson]

Most of her life was spent on the farm and in this vicinity where she had a large circle of friends. She was a kind and dutiful daughter with a sweet disposition.

The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock this afternoon from the farm home and two o'clock from the Swedish Methodist church, Rev. O.R. Palm being in charge. The interment will take place in the Olson cemetery.
