Anderson

Mrs. Johanna Anderson died at the home of her son, A.P. Anderson Thursday, March 31, at the ripe old age of ninety-two years, three months and five days. For many months she has been ailing and very weak due to her extreme old age.

Deceased was born in Nasoult, Narnunder, Sweden December 26, 1811. She was married in 1836 and migrated to this country with her husband in August, 1864 [as appears in obituary] settling in Illinois where they lived until 1856 [as appears in obituary] when they moved to Iowa. The husband preceded her to the grave many years ago. Seven children were born to them, three boys and four girls, of these there are but two living at present: A.P. Anderson of this place and Mrs. Louise Hyatt of Boulder, Colorado.

The funeral was held Sunday from the M.E. church, Rev. Eklund, Linn and Berggren officiating. The remains were interred in the Olson cemetery. [South Marion Cemetery, Stratford, Iowa]
