Orlan M. Graves, 53, former Webster City resident, died Wednesday morning at his home in Clarion. He had been in ill health since March.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. David R. LaMaster officiating. Burial is to be at Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Orlan Morris Graves, the son of Hobart and Mabel Brattick Graves, was born Nov. 13, 1927 at Nevada. He was reared and educated in Webster City and was a veteran of the Korean War, having served from December of 1951 to November of 1953.

He was employed for 20 years at the Hart-Carter Company in Webster City. He then moved to Clarion, where he was employed at the H.H. and B. until his illness forced his retirement.

He is survived by one sister, Cathryn (Mrs. Chester) White of Clarion; one niece, Rita (Mrs. Bernie) Anderson of Clarion; and two nephews, Tim White of Cedar Rapids and Dave White of Clarion.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

He was formerly a member of the American Legion in Clarion.
