Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Tuesday, March 28, 2000

Betty Colleen Caquelin, 44, Macon, MO., died Friday, March 24, 2000 at Boone County Hospital, Columbia, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral home. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

Betty Colleen Dingman, daughter of Vernon and Elsie Broyles Dingman, was born June 20, 1955 at Leon. The family moved to Webster City and she graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1973. She graduated from the nursing program at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. She moved to Columbia in the early 80s and worked as a registered nurse. In 1991, she was involved in an auto accident and had resided in the Loch Haven Care Center since then.

Survivors are daughters and son-in-law, Angie Caquelin of Ames, Myra and Bruce Miller of Fort Bragg, NC., Jennifer Caquelin of Ames, two grandchildren, Miranda Worrick and Derek Caquelin, brothers Leonard Dingman of Webster City, Jeffrey Dingman of Columbia, MO., Douglas Dingman of Hamden, CT., sister Donna Adamson of Dana, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Webster City and attended Grace Bible Church in Columbia.
