Angela (Angie) Norem, 24, of Webster City, died Sunday, May 9, 1999 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with Revs. John Grebner and Doug Bullock-Tiffany officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and at the church Thursday morning.

Angela Kay Norem, daughter of John and Rachel (Hyland) Norem, was born March 11, 1975 at Denison, Iowa. She graduated from Webster City high school in 1993 and from Buena Vista University in 1997, with a degree in accounting. Prior to her failing health she had been an auditor for the State of Iowa, residing in Des Moines.

She is survived by her parents, John and Rachel Norem of Webster City, sisters; Amy and Alesha Norem of Webster City, brother; John (Hank) Norem of Indianola; grandparents; Helen Norem of Ames, Merv and Idelle Hyland of Radcliffe, uncles and aunt Larry Norem of Ames, Nancy Kellogg of Sioux City, Gene Hyland of Huntington Beach, CA, Kim Hyland of Freemont, CA, special friend; Ryan Schweitzberger of Storm Lake.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather; Henry Norem.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church and assisted in many youth activities. In school she was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, played softball, basketball, volleyball, coached youth summer softball and was employed at Hy-Vee. While at Buena Vista, she played softball, was dormitory resident advisor and worked at the Commercial Bank in Storm Lake.
