DeForest, WI - Rev. Dr. Marion Lars Hendrickson, age 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home in DeForest on Saturday, October 13, 2018. He was a retired pastor from St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Arlington, Wisconsin but continued to officiate in area churches where needed. He also remained active teaching public school music, performing in brass ensembles and the occasional pipe organ concert.

He is survived by his wife Connie (Dobberfuhl), sons Matthew of Milwaukee and Michael of Iowa City, brothers Duane (Regina) of Jewell, Gerald (Gayle Boyd) of Rockville, Maryland, Steve (Cayla Cardiff) of Taylor, Texas, a niece Hillary Eckert (Andy) of Ames, a nephew Spencer (Christina) of Chicago, Illinois and two grand nieces Taryn and Audrey Eckert (Andy and Hillary).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lars and Norma Hendrickson of Stanhope and a brother Brian.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Arlington, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Christopher Amen officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
