MRS. WESTRUM DIES AT HOME

Dies at Age of 58 Following Long Illness Caused by Dropsey

STRATFORD, Iowa, Sept. 13 - Mrs. Peter Westrum died at her home at 6 o'clock last evening two miles east of Stratford. She had been in poor health for some time and so her death did not come as a real shock to relatives. The direct cause of death was dropsey.

Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church tomorrow at 3 o'clock with the Rev. A.E. Applequist officiating.

Mrs. Westrum was about 58 years old and besides her husband leaves several brothers and sisters, namely; Levi Neese, of Clear Lake; Tim Neese, of Butler, Mo., Mrs. Lola Brock, of Macon, Mo.; and Mrs. Clara Sardeane, of Fall River, Kan. There were no children in the Westrum family.
