Bonnie Dunbar, 89, of Webster City, died, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Chaplain Rachel Bawden, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bonnie Jean Garth daughter of Raymond and Oma Taylor Garth was born June 20, 1929. She graduated from Lincoln High in 1948. She married Dick Wendell Dunbar on April 24, 1949 at the Church of Christ. Bonnie moved to the farm and worked alongside Dick for many years. In 1971 she went to work with Aubrey at Webster City Greenhouse and continued to help him at other businesses throughout the years.

Bonnie is survived by her children and grandchildren; Cynthia (Dan) Ware of Apache Junction Arizona, Sonja, Kim and Brad and families; Aubrey (Diana) Dunbar of Adel, Iowa, Garth and Sabra and families; Mark (Bridget) of Canton, Texas, Jonna, Joa, Jeana, Jinger and families; Sabra (Bob) of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Taylor, Megan and Madison; sisters, Marlene (Gary) Fonken of Upland, California and Sharon Mark of Mesa, Arizona.

Bonnie Jean was preceded in death by her husband Dick Dunbar, her parents, brother-in-law, John Mark and many loved family.

Bonnie was a lifelong member of the Webster City of Church of Christ where she participated in many programs through the years. She also designed and handmade many program books for her circle. Bonnie enjoyed making beautiful cards for many of her friends and family that will be cherished for years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kindred Hospice in memory of Bonnie.
