Albert O. Olson, 64, Stratford, Is Dead

Albert Oscar Olson, 64, retired farmer living in Stratford with his brother Fred, died in the Veterans hospital in Des Moines late Saturday afternoon after having been admitted that morning.

A veteran of World War I, Mr. Olson farmed south of Stratford until after his wife died, then he moved to Stratford and lived with his brother. He was a member of the several Masonic lodges.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emma Brandt and his brother, both of Stratford.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stratford Methodist church with the Rev. Otto Steele in charge. Burial will be in the South Marion cemetery. Members of the American Legion and the Masonic lodges will attend the services in a group.
