STRATFORD - Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline J. Ginter, 87, Boone, formerly of Stratford, were held Tuesday afternoon at the South Marion Methodist Church with the Rev. George Brighton officiating. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery.

Mrs. Ginter died March 11 at Boone County Hospital, Boone. The former Caroline J. Hasselstrom, she was born on a farm southeast of Stratford. Her husband, W.H. Ginter preceded her in death.

Surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
