Elmer Ferlen, 81, Stratford, Dies

STRATFORD (Special) - Elmer Ferlen, 81, long time resident of the Stratford area, was found dead outside his farm home southwest of here Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8. He apparently had suffered a heart attack.

Mr. Ferlen had lived alone since the death of his wife about two years ago.

Survivors include two brothers, Art, who lives in Oregon and Tilghman of Stratford and a twin sister, Mrs. Oscar Olson, Gary, Ind., and a number of nephews.

Funeral services are pending.

Funeral Notice

Funeral services for the late Elmer Ferlen, long time Stratford resident, who died Sunday, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 2 o'clock from the Stratford Lutheran church with the Rev. Lawrence Anderson in charge. Burial will be in the South Marion cemetery.
