HUBBARD - Funeral services for Arnold Feaker, 79, were held at the First Baptist Church in Stratford Monday, April 6 with burial in South Marion Cemetery. Boeke Funeral Home at Hubbard had charge of the arrangements.

Arnold William Feaker, born Nov. 1, 1907 at Chariton County, Mo., was the son of William and Louisa Webb Feaker. He moved with his parents to Iowa at age 5 to the Ackley and Iowa Falls area.

Nov. 6, 1926, he married Leta Bushbaum at Waterloo. The couple lived most of their married life in Hamilton County. They lived in Stratford 10 years before retiring to Hubbard.

He worked as in the paint and wall-paper business and also as a raw fur dealer.

Survivors are his wife; eight children, Beryl of Lisbon, Orville and Darrold, both of Phoenix, Clysta Echelberger of Kamrar, Dorla Finney and Robert of Long Island, N.Y., Gary L. of Cedar Rapids, and Bonnie Hansel of Williams; 36 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Beamish of Mason City, one brother, Woodrow of Mountain Home, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister and two brothers.
