Mrs. Chapman, 99, Dies, Stratford

Mrs. Jennie Chapman, 99, died Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl G. Carlson at Stratford. She was the oldest resident in Hamilton County and if she had lived until May 16, she would have been 100 years old.

Survivors include a son, J.E. Chapman of Meredith; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Lund of Lorenze; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist church at Stratford with the Rev. Otto Steele officiating. Burial will be at the South Marion cemetery at Stratford.
