Janice E. Myers, of Webster City, died on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Paula Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Boman Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 20, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Webster City.

Janice was born on May 25, 1943, to John and Eveline (Meyering) Peck in Webster City. She attended the Webster City Schools, graduating in 1960. She met James Myers when they were both a part of the church choir; they were married on April 7, 1962, at Calvary Baptist Church.

Over the years, Janice was employed at Eichman Clothing Store, Farmers National Bank as a Bank Officer, and VanDiest Supply doing billing. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. Janice enjoyed crafts, especially Porcelain Dolls, eating out, gospel and country music. One of her favorite things was attending her grandson’s sports and activities.

Janice’s family includes her husband of 56 years; sons, Michael Myers of Webster City; and Douglas (Rebecca) Myers of Eagan, MN; three grandchildren, Jamie (Kayla) Myers of North Liberty, Austin of Waterloo, and Mason of Webster City; three siblings, Shirley (John) Hall of Washington, IL, LeRoy (Sherry) Peck of Webster City, and LaVonne Kizzier of Webster City; Aunt Dena Flygstad of Webster City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
