Woodrow W. Gerber, 59, longtime resident of the Kamrar community, died suddenly on Sunday at his home in Kamrar.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenfield Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Woodrow Wilson Gerber, son of Fred and Kate Gerber, was born at Kamrar on Nov. 5, 1912. He received his education in the Kamrar schools and grew to young manhood in that community. He farmed in the Kamrar vicinity until 1947 when he entered business in Kamrar.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel [maiden name Edmunds - married 21 June 1943]; his mother and father; and two brothers.

He is survived by one brother, Cecil Gerber of Webster City and one sister, Mrs. George Scheppler of Rockford, Iowa.
