DEATH TAKES M. GERBER, 21

Funeral Services for Former Kamrar Boy Tomorrow

Merlyn Gerber, 21 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gerber, who live north of Kamrar, died Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Woodward, following a two weeks' illness of diphtheria and complications.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Strong, of Kamrar, officiating. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery. While the doctors at the sanitarium report that the diphtheria had entirely cleared, Merlyn had not been released before death and in compliance with the laws concerning contagious diseases, the body will not be at the funeral home during the service.

Besides his father and mother he leaves one sister, Mrs. George Scheppler of Kamrar and three brothers, Lloyd of Fort Dodge; Cecil of Webster City and Woodrow, at home. He also leaves his grandmother, Mrs. Louisa Bauer, of Webster City, and many other relatives and friends.
