Michael Duane Philbrook 68 of Fort Dodge, Iowa died at his home on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Services will be June 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Kendall Young Park in Webster City, Iowa. Michael D. Philbrook was born April 19, 1950 in Webster City, Iowa to Robert and Lois (Day) Philbrook. He grew up in Webster City and graduated from Webster City High School. He was united in marriage to Anita Simpson. The couple settled in Webster City before moving to Minnesota for seven years. They returned to Webster City after that and for the past four years have lived in Fort Dodge. Michael was a jack of all trades. He did farm labor and taking care of pigs. He was a handyman, always taking things apart and putting them back together. Michael enjoyed western movies and watching Grizzly Adams. Fishing was his favorite pastime and experiencing what ever nature had to provide, especially watching eagles and deer. Helping people is what Mike did the best.

He is survived by his wife Anita, his children; Jeremy Jamie, Miguel, and Shylenna, six grandchildren, and his siblings; Greg, Randy, Bruce and Carolyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bill.
