Dorothy Utech, age 97 of Williams died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 28th at the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg with inurnment in the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be one hour before services on Saturday, April 28th at the church. The Surls Funeral Home of Williams is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Evelyn Utech was born on September 27, 1920 in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Anetta (Arnold) Farrier. On July 5, 1942 Dorothy was united in marriage to William Kelley and was later divorced. On August 30, 1947 she married Donald Utech in Alden. She taught country school and was a homemaker. Dorothy was a member of the Ellis United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Rex Utech and his wife, Maggie of Williams; a daughter-in-law, Susie Utech-Collins of Eagle Point, OR; two granddaughters, Michelle Callos of Iowa Falls and Stephanie Telutki of Waterloo; a grandson, John Telutki; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Phil (Maia) Gusk of Williams, Rob (Marla) Halliday of St. Ansgar, and Jim (Christie) Halliday of St. Cloud, MN; and special friends, Darrell (Mariann) Burma of Big Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; a son, Gale Utech; 2 daughters, Ginger Telutki and Evelyn Lee Kelley; a granddaughter, Nichole Brown; a grandson, Bobby Callos; and two sisters, Edla Farrier and Lois Cady.
