Larry Lundy, 69, of Webster City, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, north of Van Meter. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, 800 Willson Ave, Webster City, IA.
Larry Ray Lundy, son of Clarence and Elnora Merritt Lundy, was born September 16, 1948 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1967 and received an Associates Degree from Iowa Central Community College. Larry served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. He married Linda Mesecher on September 20, 1970 at the First Baptist Church in Webster City. Larry was a truck driver for Scrap Processors.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda of Webster City; children, Chad (Jess) Lundy of Story City, Teresa (Bob) Campbell of Huxley, Becky Lundy of Ames; eight grandchildren, Cody, Carter, Lexi, Aimee, Alexis, Daniel, Alison and Chance; three great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Lundy of Webster City and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janis Lundy.
Larry was a member of First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove, the American Legion Post 191 and the Central Iowa Classic Chevy Club. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling and racing.
