Rosalie Floden, age 75, of Ames, passed away February 19, 2018. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 23 at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 24 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Ames. Burial will be in Ontario Cemetery in Ames.

Rosalie Ruth Floden was born June 21, 1942 to Glenn Armstrong and Hester Leone (Adams) Seaboch in Webster City, Iowa. Rosalie graduated from Webster City High School after which she went to work for Bankers Life Company in Des Moines. On September 22, 1962, she married Dean Floden. Rosalie and Dean made their home in Ames and she worked for Northwestern Bell until her retirement from Qwest in 2000. She enjoyed boating with her family with many trips to Minnesota and Missouri. Rosalie had “a good bunch of friends” who she enjoyed going to lunch, shopping, or a movie. Rosalie was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Ames and very much enjoyed attending Iowa State football and basketball games.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Brett Floden of Ames and Laura (Brad) Taylor of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean Floden; and her sisters, Fayma Jones and Sheryl Schroder.
