Laura Parrish, 58, of Webster City, died on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City from 9:00 – 10:30 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Laura was born on February 28, 1959 in California to Scott and Jean (Stayner) Loughry. She was raised in Kamrar, Iowa, and graduated from the Webster City High School. She married Jack Parrish on June 12, 1993 in Kamrar.

Laura collected light houses and angels, loved animals, especially cats. She enjoyed going for walks and attending congregate meals. One of the things she loved was playing Bingo with her family. They would travel great distances to play a game.

Her family includes her children: Mark (Sophia) Loughry of Story City, David Wagner of Rolfe, and Nikita Wagner of Webster City; four grandchildren: Ashley & Cody Loughry, Raven Philbrook and Jeremiah Collins; two sisters: Terry (Jim) Anderson of Webster City and Sue Fox of Drakesville, Iowa; friend Richard Lee Daniels of Webster City; one cousin Ron (Darlene) Reighard of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Jack Parrish in 2012.
