If you were fortunate enough to meet Tricia, then you remember her amazing smile, adorable dimples, and the warm glow about her, that drew people in. She was fiercely independent, incredibly funny, and definitely liked to have things her way. She was the nurturer in the family, and when it came to her children, they were second to none. From the moment Tegan and Taryn were born, she doted on them and tried to make their lives as perfect as she could. She took time to have meaningful conversations with them and truly listened when they shared their fears, hopes and dreams. Her world truly revolved around Tegan and Taryn, and she made sure no matter what the circumstances were, they were able to participate in the activities that they enjoyed. She was so proud of her children and because of her devotion, both are incredibly bright, funny, happy and most importantly, kind hearted children. When she wasn't attending to her children, she was taking in stray cats and trying to make her rambunctious Siberian Husky, Sam, behave. She was a caregiver for Life and Health Care, where she enjoyed providing excellent care to those who needed assistance. Her clients loved her and their families frequently requested that she be the one to care for their loved ones. Tricia had such a significant presence in so many lives, and will be missed by all those who remember her amazing smile, adorable dimples and warmth.

Tricia is survived by her children Tegan Murra and his father Lee Murra and Taryn Owen and her father Shawn Owen all of Webster City; her mother Marcia Rodgers of Iowa Falls; her sister Shan (Steve) Seivert of Ankeny and her niece Jacie Blunt of Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her father Jerome and her grandparents, Danny and Margaret Rodgers.
