Loveta Wasson, 95, Webster City, died Tuesday morning, March 20, at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Blairsburg. Rev. Leroy Franz officiating. Burial will be in the Blairsburg Cemetery. Visitation at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City will be after 4 p.m. Thursday, March 22, with the family receiving relatives and friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to the UCC Congregational of Blairsburg.

Loveta Elizabeth Woodward, daughter of Breckenridge and Minerva Roberts Woodward, was born Sept. 22, 1894, in Windsor, Mo. She graduated from William Woods College for Girls, and also attended state college at Warrensburg, Mo. She married Charles Eugene Wasson on Jan. 16, 1917, in LaMonte, Mo. The couple lived in the Blairsburg community until 1968, when they moved to Webster City. Mrs. Wasson was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 24, 1971. She continued to reside in Webster City.

She is survived by three daughters and one son, Ruth (Mrs. Robert) Moorman, Helen (Mrs. Richard) Atkins and R.E. "Dick" Wasson, all of Ames, and Mary Lou (Mrs. E.H.) Pulis, Webster City; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her hsuband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Wasson was a member of the UCC Congregational of Blairsburg.
