Ray Doss, 83, Fonda, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 at the Fonda Nursing Home and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be held at the Williams Cemetery with Rev. Rick Layman officiating. Surls Funeral Home in Williams is in charge of arrangements.

Ray Doss was born Nov. 27, 1918 in Williams, the son of Ulysses and Lucy Sumner Doss. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors are his sisters, Mabel Beyer, Indianola and Mary Sedam, Williams, and a brother, Everett Doss of Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Brent, Earl, Albert and John, and one sister, Evelyn Hamilton.
