Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Monday, June 16, 1969

Bert B. Wilson, 76, a former Webster Cityan who had been living at 1803 Tama St., in Boone, died at the Boone County hospital Saturday. He had been a patient there the past 10 days.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Stark-Welin Funeral chapel in Boone with the Rev. Milford Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill cemetery at Stanhope.

He was born July 12, 1892, at High Point, Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilson.

Dec. 23, 1914, he was married to Eulia E. Scott, at California, Mo. He had resided in Webster City until the family moved to Boone in 1942, and was constable of Des Moines township.

Mr. Wilson was a member of the Union Christian Church near High Point, Mo., and was active in public affairs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pete and John and one sister, Edith.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Lucille) Hinderks of Campbell, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Eula Mae) Young of Stanhope; one son, Charles B. Wilson of Campbell, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Horace Gist, San Jose, Calif., 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
