NORMAN TEIG, AGE 17, DIES

Pneumonia Causes Death of Stanhope Boy; Funeral Saturday

STANHOPE, Iowa, April 14 - Norman Teig, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin [Emma West] Teig, of Stanhope, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 3:35 o'clock, death being caused by pneumonia.

The boy had been sick only since Thursday evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church in Stanhope. The Rev. Oppedahl will officiate and burial will be made in the Stanhope [Lawn Hill] cemetery.

Norman is survived by his parents and four brothers - Mervin, 16; Everett, 13; Tilford, 7, and Wendall, 5.

Norman would have been 18 years old May 10. He was a junior in the Stanhope high school where he was very active in all of the school's activities and popular among the students.
